Neonate in distress.

Abdominal radiograph of a child. Tubes and lines appear appropriately positioned.  Dilated loops of small bowel bowel are present in the abdomen.  The large bowel appears normal calibre.  Free air is noted over the liver.  A hernia is present in the left groin. Appearance suggestive of mechanical obstruction resulting in perforation.  This is a medical emergency.  I will urgently convey the findings to the referring team.
